Between the pages of a book is a lovely place to be… and so is Workman’s BookCon booth (#1729, 1829)!
This BookCon, Workman will be delving into the pages of our books to offer interactive workshops in our booth throughout the day. Here’s the full schedule of what’s happening:
10:30 – 11:30: Will Ritter, author of Jackaby and Beastly Bones, signing and Jackaby book giveaway
11:00-11:30: Doodle Yourself Into an Adventure Workshop with author Mike Lowery
12:00 – 12:30: Chalk Lettering Workshop with The Complete Book of Chalk Lettering author Valerie McKeehan
1:00 – 1:30: Your Idea Starts Here: Make Your Own Self-Portrait Book Workshop with author Carolyn Eckert
2:00 – 2:30: Star Wars Origami with author Chris Alexander
3:00 – 3:30: The Herbal Apothecary: Making Herbal Teas
4:00 – 4:30: Generation T: Transform a T-Shirt with author Megan Nicolay
5:00 – 5:30: Washi Tape Crafts: Personalizing Stationery
Anyone who participates in a workshop will receive a $5 coupon to buy books at the Workman booth and we will be giving away a free tote bag with any purchase.
We will also have an interactive photo booth display straight from the pages of our new Paint by Sticker series where attendees can take a photo of themselves as part of a gallery wall.
