From the moment this book was presented at last season’s launch meeting, there’s been excitement of MONSTROUS proportions here in the office. Months before we had our hands on finished copies, we could tell how unbelievably cool the 50 pop-out patterns were going to be. Now that the book is actually here, it’s tough not to proclaim our undying affection for Papertoy Monsters to anyone who will listen.
Is it the grotesque cuteness of these little guys that we love so? The hilarious, often relatable personality traits of each one? Their unique life stories? Maybe we just love how easy it is to turn a flat piece of paper into a lifelike friend fiend for our desks.
