“Berry” Effective Hair Tonic

This ayurvedic recipe uses amla, or Indian gooseberry, a fruit harvested from a tree that’s considered sacred in India and that is known to strengthen hair follicles. It also contains powerful antioxidants that promote hair growth and are great for dry scalp and dandruff. You can use the berry tonic twice weekly or apply it every night to the scalp to help promote hair growth. You can add an egg for protein enrichment.
