Got a free hour, a pile of scrap paper hidden away in a drawer, some card stock, a bottle of white glue, and a hole punch? That’s about all you need to get cracking on this year’s holiday cards. Check out the easy instructions for this family-friendly project, adapted from Papermade by Kayte Terry.
1. Cut and fold a piece of card stock into a card.
2. Lightly outline the shape you wish to make on the front of the card.
3. Use the hole punch to punch dozens of dots from each color of scrap paper. Sort them into piles by color.
4. Brush a tiny dot of white glue on the back of a dot and affix it to the edge of the outline you traced. Continue, dot by dot, until you have filled in the shape. Erase your pencil lines as you work.
5. Let the cards dry for one hour before handling.
